She loves nature and the meaning of life so much that 20 years ago she realized that meat was not food good for her body and her spirit so she became more conscious of her preference for organic and simple food, another reason why she fell in love with Costa Rica. Restaurant Gusto Creativo Italiano opened in 2009 in the center of Samara from an idea that Stephen and Stefanie, a Roman couple created, to bring a cozy and romantic atmosphere to this corner of Costa Rica. The cuisine ranges from Italian and fusion fantasies of appetizers, pastas, meat and fish with excellent desserts to end dinner. Wine lovers can chose from the great selection of international wines. In 2010 a second location opens, fulfilling a second dream of a beach location, Gusto Beach, offering a multi-ethnic atmosphere. White sheets, pillows, warm wooden furniture and comfortable chairs set the new trend on the beach day and night.
Opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Gusto Beach offers summer dishes, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, salads and excellent tartare and fresh fish carpaccio. The Tropical Beach Bar serves delicious smoothies, fruit cocktails, large jugs of mojito cocktails to sip along with snacks at sunset, accompanied by Latin and lounge music.
The most recent creation has been the Gusto Store, a delightful boutique where women can find beautiful bikinis, fashion accessories, t-shirts and artistic creations.
