Kayak and Snorkel in the Samara bay to Isla Chora. Isla Chora is a small island that is a 25-45 minute paddle off the beach of Playa Samara depending on where you enter the water. Once on the island, you will discover a secluded beach with amazing views back to Samara and the mountains behind it.
Walking into the shallow and warm waters you will discover reefs teeming with tropical fish. Relaxing on the island be treated to beverages and fresh fruits but watch out, some of the local inhabitants of Isla Chora like large iguanas and raccoons may try and help themselves to your food.
Snorkeling around the island you can find clownfish (Nemos), several types of angelfish, puffer, parrot, zebra, mantas, octopus, eels, crabs, lobster, and much more.
The waters around Samara are safe for the whole family.
Tours depart morning or afternoon depending on when the low tide is.
